PURPLE has successfully lobbied for three significant changes to the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) “Health Check” report (Goepel), proposed by the Agriculture Committee of the European Parliament.

Held just two days after the Commission statement on the CAP Health Check, this event provided an opportunity to reflect on the next steps for peri-urban regions, and to hear a response on the PURPLE position on the CAP from the Agriculture and Rural Development Commissioner, Mariann Fischer Boel herself.
