Where are the limits of the city? Spatial Planning in peri-urban areas

On 13 June, the Vice President of the Wielkopolska region, Mr Wojciech Jankowiak welcomed delegates to a conference Where are the limits of the city? Spatial planning in peri-urban areas

Representatives and officials from Wielkopolska presented the context for spatial planning in and around Poznan, setting out some of the challenges.  What kind of instruments are needed to meet the development potential of this dynamic region whilst at the same time fulfilling sustainable development aspirations?

At the invitation of Wielkopolska, PURPLE members then responded with examples from their own regions and there was a lively discussion.

Can we learn from each other? Can we avoid repreating the same mistakes? By sharing concerns and good practice across the PURPLE network we hope we can!
